My name is Amelie. I was born in Bordeaux, France and grew up in the beautiful Portland, Oregon. I just finished serving as the 2010 student body president at the University of Oregon. I started this blog to document my adventures to Pondicherry, India and beyond. This blog is also about developing global citizens through spiritual discovery, political empowerment, and direct service.

  1. Amelie, my beautiful and spunky friend. I am loving being able to read fragments of your voyage as you experience it. I miss you so much already, but am looking forward to continuing life here at the Campbell Club and hopefully being able to possibly come and visit you in India.
Nothing to exciting has been going on as far as I know it. Canada was amazing, I am currently thinking about living there for some part of my life. I had so much fun. I am actually disappointed within myself because I didn’t spend more time with you then I did, but one should not go through life regretting but with gratitude. So I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with you.
You are going to do wonders with your time and hopefully India will cherish you back.
    Love you lots xoxo,

P.S. I cleaned the third floor bathroom yesterday. You would not believe it’s transformation. Everything is white and smells like bleach instead of the liquid that is released from our bodies. it’s so clean I could eat off the floor, well almost.

    Love Love Love B.
